The HOTEL
Established in 1884, our trusty old pub has withstood the test of time. The horses may have bolted a long time ago, but the history and strength of this Wallsend classic hotel continues.
The hotel is a proud sponsor and supporter of many local organisations and community endeavours.

THE BAR
Sit at our horseshoe bar and enjoy the classics on tap: VB, New, Old, XXXX, Iron Jack, Super Dry.
If you prefer the crafts there is Stone & Wood, James Squire Ginger Beer and Hawkesbury Seltzer.
You’ll find great wine and cocktail lists.
We have TAB and Keno, Punters Clubs, Fishing Clubs, Golf Clubs, Member Clubs… all the good stuff.

We think we might have the biggest beer garden of all the Newcastle pubs!
Our food offering is situated in this alfresco space and it’s where we hold our functions and have our live music stage.
